Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Add the flour, baking powder and salt to a medium mixing bowl.
Place the softened butter and sugar in the bowl of your stand mixer with the paddle attachment.
Cream the butter and sugar together on high speed until light and fluffy (3-4 minutes).
Add the eggs and vanilla extract, to the butter mixture. Mix on low speed, scraping the bottom and sides of the bowl as needed.
Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Mix together on low speed. Mix just long enough to incorporate the flour into the butter mixture.
