Ingredients to make Quesadilla Sauce
Let’s start by gathering the ingredients we need to make my creamy quesadilla sauce recipe. In Chef Speak, this is called the Mise en Place, which translates into Everything in its Place.
Not only does setting your ingredients up ahead of time speed the cooking process, but it also helps ensure you have everything you need to make the dish.
Can I adjust the recipe?
Yes, you can. You can use Greek yogurt instead of sour cream to make the recipe. You can also replace the mayonnaise with sour cream or Greek yogurt. The flavor will be subtly different but still delicious. You can also use whipped cream cheese to make this yummy sauce.
For a touch of heat, add your favorite hot sauce, cayenne pepper, or chopped jalapeno peppers (or chipotle peppers) to the mixture.
If you prefer a less spicy sauce, cut back on the jalapeno juice or leave it out of the sauce.
How to make Quesadilla Sauce
