One of my favorite breakfast treats is Blueberry Scones warm from the oven. It has flaky pastry with a crunchy exterior loaded with plump juicy blueberries.
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Add the flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder to a large bowl. Whisk to combine.
Use a box grater to shred the frozen butter. Add the grated butter to the flour mixture and combine with two forks or a pastry blender. The finished mixture should be pea-sized crumbs.
