You’ll #LoveFl at the Windjammer Resort and Beach Club!
This is a sponsored post for Superior Small Lodging of Florida. All opinions, text and images are my own.
I do travel quite a bit and have been blessed to now live in the State of Florida with its endless beaches and amazing hospitality. Earlier in the year I was privileged to speak at the Superior Small Lodging Conference in Delray Beach and it was there that I had the pleasure of speaking with John Boutin owner of the Windjammer Resort and Beach Club in Lauderdale by the Sea.
John is extremely proud of his property and rightly so. The care given on a daily basis and constant improvements to this beautiful beach front resort is quite evident. The friendliness and professionalism of the staff also spoke volumes about how John runs his business. You really get that warm feeling that only a quality family run resort can give you.
The rooms we were given went beyond my expectation. Well appointed and extremely comfortable, the apartments offer all the amenities you could want and honestly hadn’t even thought about.
As a chef, I always gravitate to the kitchen area and love having my morning coffee while enjoying the view. A lot of thought went into the building of the Windjammer Resort, each apartment has a view of the ocean with unique set up of the rooms.
And when its time to call it a night, you’ll find a super comfortable bed for a quiet relaxed night of the sleep you’ve had in a long time. After all, you’re in paradise, how could you not sleep well?
When you talk to John you also realize an another important fact, he loves Lauderdale by the Sea.
I mean what’s not to love? Beautiful beaches, gorgeous crystal clear water and that small town happy to see you feeling.
Lauderdale by the Sea takes pride in their community. You’ll find art where you least expect it.
A welcoming entrance to the town, with plenty of room to sit a spell and relax as you watch life go by.
I love these uniquely styled benches.. but then again what would you expect, you are in Lauderdale by the Sea.
You’ll find all types of water sports on the beach. Beach kayaks, paddle boards and snorkeling are favorite pastimes.
They do call this area of Florida “The Dive Coast” and with crystal clear water I can certainly understand the reason why. Every day we were on the beach, groups of divers went out with scuba gear and snorkels. It made feel a lot safer out in the water, with all of those divers nearby. I even tried my hand at snorkeling!
But if you simply want to relax, all you have to do is pick a spot for your beach chair and enjoy the day. It doesn’t get much better that this my friends.
Relaxing isn’t hard to do when you stat at The Windjammer Resort in Lauderdale by the Sea, it’s what comes naturally. You’re located a couple blocks from the center of town with great dining options and entertainment nearby. There’s no need to take your car anywhere, you can find everything you need within walking distance at this tropical paradise. And the folks at The Windjammer Resort and Beach Club will make sure your stay is a happy one.
