Equipment

  • loaf pan

Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • 2 cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls with original icing

Instructions

Instructions:

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F .
  • Line a loaf pan with parchment paper, such that the edges lightly hang over the sides.
  • Remove the cinnamon rolls from both tubes, keeping each roll intact (do not separate or cut them). Arrange the whole cinnamon rolls snugly in the prepared loaf pan, stacking and layering as needed to fit evenly.
  • Cover the loaf pan tightly with aluminum foil. Place the pan on the center rack of the preheated oven and bake for 30 minutes. Carefully remove the foil and return the pan to the oven.
  • Bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and cooked through.
  • Remove the loaf from the oven and gently take it out of the pan. Place it on a wire cooling rack and let it cool for at least 10 minutes.
  • While the loaf cools, transfer the icing from both tubes into a microwave-safe bowl.
  • Heat the icing in 10-second intervals, stirring in between, until the icing reaches a smooth, pourable consistency.
  • Drizzle the warm icing over the loaf, allowing it to seep into the layers before slicing and serving.

Notes

Recipe Variations
  • Make It a Smaller Loaf – Since this recipe uses just two tubes, you can easily scale it down by using one tube and a smaller pan for a more intimate, small-batch version.
  • Turn It Into Muffins – Divide the mixture from the two tubes into a muffin tin for individual cinnamon roll bites that bake faster and are perfect for serving.
  • Add a Fruit Layer – With two tubes creating the perfect base, layer in apple pie filling, blueberries, or sliced bananas to stretch the loaf and add natural sweetness.
  • Go Nutty or Crunchy – Add chopped pecans, walnuts, or even a streusel topping to give texture to the soft, gooey layers created by the cinnamon rolls.
  • Double It for a Crowd – If you’re feeding a larger group, simply double to four tubes and bake in a larger pan or make two loaves—same easy method, just more to share.
  • Make It Dessert-Style – Use the two-tube base and add chocolate chips, caramel drizzle, or a cream cheese swirl for a richer, more indulgent version.

Chef Tips
  • Don’t overcrowd the pan; leave a little space for the dough to expand.
  • Check doneness with a toothpick to ensure the center is fully cooked.
  • Let the loaf rest before slicing to help it hold its shape.

Serving Suggestions
  • Serve warm with a fresh cup of coffee or espresso for a cozy breakfast.
  • Pair with fresh berries or a simple fruit salad to balance the sweetness.
  • Add a dollop of whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream for dessert.
  • Dust lightly with powdered sugar for a bakery-style finish.
  • Slice thick and serve as part of a brunch spread with eggs and bacon.
  • Drizzle with extra warmed icing right before serving for that gooey, fresh-from-the-oven feel.

How to Store and Reheat
